Alvis: The story of the Red Triangle

Alvis has for eight decades been associated with the design and manufacture of thoroughbred cars. But right from the early days the Coventry precision engineering firm recognized that diversification was essential for survival. The Alvis group is today a significant name in the defence, transport, aerospace, consumer, and medical optical sectors.

The company has had racing and record-breaking successes, the Alvis Owners Club has more than 3000 members, and the second edition received an award of distinction from the Society of Automotive Historians Inc,
