Respected author Nixon (RACING THE SILVER ARROWS etc) interviewed the surviving personel from the famoys 50s sports car team, and edited their views into a superb behind the scenes look at how Aston went about racing with John Wyer and Reg Parnell at the helm and drivers such as Salvadori, Shelby,Moss and Abecassis at the wheel. Apart from all the drivers, those who also contribute included stylist Frank Feeley, chasiss designer Ebran-Eberhorst, rival team boss Lofty England (of Jaguar) as well as mechanics time keepers and David Brown himself. Illustrated with period photos throughout. Superb book, never reprinted and now very rare.
