Underground Heritage

Dotted around the Underground system are many items that reflect its history. Some of these have been listed for protection by English Heritage or a local authority, while many smaller items at non-listed stations have been given heritage status by London Underground. This book illustrates the many and varied tokens of yesterday’s tube to be seen by passengers today, with coverage including tiling, lighting, signage, booking halls and clocks.  All of the photographs are in colour.
